Positive Review
Great view along the river Kwai, beautiful sunrise from my room! Nice, polite staff. Bungalow standard = Mini storage room between the bedroom and toilet is really comfortable to put the bags and belongings, without filling up the main beedroom floor.
Negative Review
Despite the free acquatic activities, the river itself has strong current in the middle and seems to be dirty close to the shore where the flow is stagnant. I didnt’ enjoy the bath. Definitely poor breakfast, just coffee, yogurt, jam, eggs with toast. I would suggest tea and some fruits to be added at least. Bungalow standard room= toilet has no drain hole for the shower, so unless you take a fast bath, the water level start to rise in the bathroom and it becomes uncomfortable to reach the toilet unless you keep your feet in the dirty water. I had to take few bricks from the sorroundings to stay above the water level while using toilet and sink. Glimpsed a red stain below the bedcover, didn’t want to investigate more on it, and slept closer to the center. The windows don’t have proper curtains, during the night with the light on inside, people from the tent situated in front could easily see inside. Maybe the tent option, other than cheaper, is better, as the shared toilets seemed to be well more maintained.
