· The hotel is very clean and modern, and when we stayed we were told that it had only been open for two months. The woman who welcomed us was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The room was a good size and had plenty of storage space and a large rail to hang clothes. The view from the room of the valley was nice. If you do not mind a 25 minute walk to the lake, the location is good for people who want to be outside of the city centre. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you do not want to leave the area.
Disliked
· We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooked the patio. I am glad we chose this room rather than a patio room, as it was still quite noisy when people were using the patio in the evening and in the morning. The soundproofing between rooms was also not very good as we could clearly hear people in the next room during the night. The door to the hallway is frosted glass and the hall light illuminates the room during the night, as well the balcony lights which we could not work out how to turn off. The room had a kettle and cups but we did not have any complimentary water, coffee or tea. -
