Ardmore Glamping Pods

A glamping area with pretty cool views is Ardmore Glamping Pods, conveniently located outside Ardmore village in Waterford. The pods overlook Whiting Bay, are surrounded by a wildflower meadow and are the perfect choice for families, not only because there are several beaches nearby, but there’s also an open farm and mini zoo right next door to the pods.

If you want to take a break from cooking, there’s a restaurant on the grounds or the option of renting out a barbecue. If a good trad session is what you’re looking for, head to the famous Marine Bar and Ardmore Glamping Pods will offer guests a return taxi service if you fancy a few drinks.

The popular Cliff Walk is only a five-minute drive from the beach, so it’s an ideal location for those who enjoy outdoor activities. The pods sleep between four to seven people comfortably and range between €160 to €265 a night depending on the size pod you go for.

Finn Lough

Finn Lough is one of those luxury getaways in the wilderness that would have you booking a return trip as you’re checking out. Located in Enniskillen, it’s off the beaten track but the perfect place to get away from it all. For accommodation, you have a choice of Forest Bubbles Domes that will leave you falling asleep under the stars in a beautiful four-poster bed, and there’s also a Lake House or Lakeside Suite to choose from which are really spacious and perfect for families. On-site, you can take a bike trip, find your zen with a bit of yoga, watch a movie in the cinema room, head out on a fishing trip or grab a book from the library, as you do. With an onsite restaurant, a sensory spa, a beautiful lake and an array of activities on-site, you will not be left disappointed with a trip to Finn Lough.

Prices start from €400 per night staying in a bubble dome, to make your booking contact [email protected]

Aran Island Glamping

Firstly, if you’ve never visited the Aran Islands before make this the year to tick it off the to-visit list. To make your trip there extra special, book the Aran Islands Camping & Glamping pods located on Inis Mór, the largest of the three Aran Islands. The site offers unique glamping accommodation that is eco-friendly.

Picture this, imagine waking up to a beautiful sunrise overlooking Galway Bay or sipping a glass of wine in the evening as you listen to the waves crash upon the idyllic Frenchman’s Beach. The Clochán glamping pods cater for up to four people and the Tigín units cater for up to six people. Each of the glamping units is solar-powered, heated and comes with an en-suite, a mini-kitchenette, plus bedding and towels. Conveniently, the site is situated within a short walk to the ferry pier, playground, supermarket, local restaurants, and activities such as electric biking and scuba-diving making. It’s an ideal location for Irish staycationers of all ages. Glamping rates range from €150-€195 per night.

Causeway Country Pods

The Causeway Country Private Pods offer a peaceful holiday destination in the North Antrim countryside. The cosy rural setting offers a real sense of warmth and comfort all year round. The best part though, the added extra of a hot tub in which to enjoy a glass of bubbles and some stargazing.

The pods themselves have floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows that offer stunning countryside views of green farmland as you completely relax and unwind in the tranquillity of the countryside.

Prices start at €210 a night. Contact [email protected] to make a booking.
