Marasca Resorts and Hotels has just opened in Khao Yai and the bookings are already rolling in for this bit of camping, luxury, and kitsch. 

The 18 units are as close to nature as possible without losing on luxury, so this is perfect for those who want to go camping but can’t face going to the toilet au naturel. Rates start at B5,350 for a 72-sqm Glamper Tent that sleeps two. The 300-sqm Home Haven Pool Villa that sleeps six will set you back for B20,063 per night and is pet friendly.

However, the highlight—and something that you don’t normally find—is that the team has refurbished a Volkswagen with luxury linen bedding complemented by a private

outdoor deck that comes equipped with a barbecue pit and telescope for stargazing. The Cherry and Woody Glamper Van is priced at B7,644 per night and sleeps two.

Marasca is a new brand launched in 2022 by Narai Hotel Group in Samui and aims to be a “casual luxury” brand.
