Four in a Bed owners hit back at ‘very picky’ guests’ ‘harsh…
FOUR in a Bed owners snapped at a pair of ‘picky guests’ who left harsh criticism on their camping site.
In the latest episode of the Channel 4 show, saw the competing hoteliers visited Steph and Martins B&B.
The pair gave the guests a heads up that they would be staying in a tent with shared showers.
Claire, a fellow hotel owner, has been vocal throughout the competition about her need for a good night’s sleep and ensuring the bedding meets her expectations.
So it’s understandable that she wasn’t delighted to learn that she would have to sleep in a tent.
Claire didn’t hold back with her thoughts when it came to scoring.
She gave the couple a 10 for hosting skills but gave them a 7 for the facilities, which was not nice to hear.
Claire explained her reasons, saying that more lighting would’ve been beneficial because the tent lacked the “wow factor”.
While reading the comments, Martin said he was “disappointed” when he realised who the comments were coming from.
“I think that’s harsh, because I think it looks amazing,” Martin snapped.
Steph chimed in: “That’s a bit mean.”
Claire also gave the couple an 8 for sleeping arrangements, and said that the mattress was “poor quality”.
Martin responded: “Claire’s very picky on her bedding isn’t she? So she’s going to pick up on something.”
In the end Claire chose not to stay at the glamping site, and the pair expressed that they were “annoyed”.
