From 18 March 2022, camping in Singapore is back! This old pastime was put on pause for the pandemic, but as we accept Covid-19 as an ongoing endemic, restrictions have relaxed. And along with this, camping in Singapore is now allowed!

1. East Coast Park

What could be a better way to start of this list than with the quintessential Singaporean camping spot? 🤗 East Coast Park is one of the most popular parks in Singapore. Filled with many halal food spots, convenient store and BBQ pits, it’s no wonder! Plus, accessibility to the toilets is no problem too. Which means you won’t have to worry about truly spending a night ”in the elements” if you don’t want to! 😉

2. Pasir Ris Park

An often overlooked yet incredibly charming spot in Singapore, Pasir Ris Park is a convenient site for leisure and camping. Located right next to Downtown East and only a walk away from Whitesands Mall, you can get any supplies you need for camping without too much hassle. 😊 Plus, there’s also mangroves nearby if you want to head for an easy, family-friendly trek, and the park is a well-known otter sighting spot!

3. West Coast Park

Can’t travel to the east? No worries! The west has a camping gem of its own that will leave you mesmerised. The site of beautiful sunsets, this is the spot for anyone who enjoys the golden hour’s gorgeous hues. The area is also famous for its Adventure Play Area, so families with kids might want to opt for West Coast Park for a fun night out camping!

 Pulau Ubin is home to 3 exciting camp sites that will surround you with peace and nature! The rustic, kampong atmosphere is one you can’t find anywhere else in Singapore. Set up at one of the three campsites: Jelutong, Mamam, and Endut Senin for a more rugged experience away from the hustle & bustle of the city!
