25 dog friendly sites for camping, glamping and caravanning…

Whether it’s camping, glamping or the comfort of a caravan, holiday space providers in Northern Ireland have been evolving rapidly to include dogs.

From hotels to Airbnbs, the number of businesses pushing their dog friendly status is rapidly growing.

But campers and caravanners have quietly led the way taking their dogs to sites for years – and more are joining them.

Most place a two dog maximum on each family, but others are open to discussion so it is always worth checking if you are a multiple dog group.

And then there are a few who have turned accepting animals from a bonus into a way of life. At Willowtree Glamping Mournes in Annalong, Co Down, dogs, cats and even horses are made very welcome with room to stay in creature comfort.
